The Cedars Elderly Support and Wellness Center

The Cedars Elderly Support and Wellness Center

The Cedars Elderly Support and Wellness Center is dedicated to the Christian Middle Eastern clientele aged 65 years and over who live at home. Its mission is to offer diversified community services which allow the elderly to stay in their natural living environment for as long as possible, while taking into consideration their language, culture and traditions.

The support center offers the following community services:
  • Meals-on-Wheels is a unique service in Quebec as it offers hot Middle Eastern meals.
  • The Day Program gathers a group of senior citizens in a friendly environment and helps to prevent feelings of isolation.
  • Les Habitations Saint-Georges offers low-cost housing to the clientele.
  • Support and guidance offers support to families and clients of the community for various issues such as caregiver fatigue, guidance on how to carefully navigate the health care system for individuals, assistance in living accommodation applications, registration for social programs, etc.
  • The Daily Hello Marhaba program is a service whereby volunteers make phone calls to vulnerable seniors, enabling supervision of the elderly clientele and detection of any potential problem in order to be proactive in searching for solutions.
How to make a request for any of the community services or the support center?
